Arturo Sandoval bridges cultures with his fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms and jazz, whilst The Apollo has uplifted Black voices for ninety years, shaping the careers of limitless artists.”

Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter emphasised the honorees’ lasting impact, mentioning, “These artists have committed a long time to pushing innovative boundaries. The Apollo’s 90th anniversary is a testament to its unparalleled have an effect on in nurturing expertise and defining American tradition.”
